Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomes Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Rashtrapati Bhavan in his six days visit to India. Trudeau came to India with his family for a week-long tour. Modi met them six days after they arrived to India. Today Prime Minister Modi welcomed Justin Trudeau. The two leaders will hold a bilateral meeting later in the day. The meeting comes in the backdrop of a row when Trudeau’s wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, was photographed with a convicted pro-Khalistan terrorist, Jaspal Atwal, during an event in Mumbai on February 20. Justin Trudeau received the Guard of Honour at the Rashtrapati Bhavan before he met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
