After Son, Chandoo To Direct Dad
Director Chandoo Mondeti successfully broke second film jinx with Naga Chaitanya starred Premam which turned out as a commercial hit at box office. There were reports that, the director planned to make a film with mass maharaja Ravi Teja. But, the project didn’t materialize.
Now, it is learnt that, Chandoo has prepared a cop story for Nagarjuna. He is expected to narrate the story soon to the Soggade Chinni Nayana star who recently came back from a trip to Paris. If things go well, the project would take off early in next year.
In fact, Nagarjuna was impressed with Chandoo’s writing and making abilities and the actor lauded the director at Premam success meet. Furthermore, Nag has good impression over Chandoo, since the director agreed to remake Premam, when he was planning to make his second film with a fresh subject.
On the other hand, Chandoo is an ardent fan of Nagarjuna and this is the prime reason for him to do Premam remake with Chaitu.
It is heard that, the new film deals with a social problem and protagonist plays a tough cop. Nag previously essayed police officer roles in several films and if things materialize he will be seen in khaki costumes one more time.
Interim, Nagarjuna is working for a devotional film Namo Venkatesaya in K Raghavendra Rao’s direction. He also committed to do SCN sequel titled Bangarraju to be helmed by Kalyan Krishna.
