Indian Government Telecom Provider BSNL is going to set up 40,000 wifi hotspots. Across rural areas in India. This wifi hotspot will be with an LTE /4G connections. Anupam Shrivastava, Chairman and Managing Director, BSNL have revealed this news to media. Shrivastava said telecom provider BSNL has already implemented 4,500 wifi hotspots at some rural areas in 2016. In 2017 they will expand this to 80,000 with an investment of 14,00 crores.
