I have not been tortured in custody, says Jadhav in video released by Pakistan
Pakistan officials released another video of former Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav, who is accused of espionage. This makes my mother happy. I’m happy. Amma .. Do not worry about me. They (Pak officials) are looking at me well. I have not done any violence against me, “Pakistani Foreign Ministry issued a video of Jadhav’s speech.
“I want to say to the Government of India, people and Navy officers. My job in the Indian Navy did not go. I am still an Indian Navy officer, “Jadhav said in the video. On the 25th of last month, humanitarian views were made by Pakistani officials to meet Jadhav and his mother and wife. At that time, Pak also released a video in that Jadhav thanked Pakistan officials.
In the purported video, Jadhav said, “I saw fear in her (mother’s) eyes, the Indian diplomat was shouting at my mother the moment she stepped out. I saw him shouting, yelling at her. This [meeting] was a positive gesture, so that she [my mother] could be happy and I could be happy.”
Jadev met his mother and wife last month at that time a mirror was there between Jadhav and his family. However, when Jadhav met, his mother, his wife’s state officials asked them to remove their bangles, bindi and mangalsutra and even confiscated his wife’s footwear which became controversial. Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj strongly condemned the issue.
Pak had then released pictures of his mother and wife after Jhadhav met him. According to the video it came to know that Pakistani officials tortured. On his head, at the ear, and on the neck, the injuries are visible. As Pakistan officials say that meeting was conducted on humanitarian perspective. However, Sushma Swaraj has expressed concern over Pakistan behaviour with Jhadhav family members.
