Telangana Political JAC Leader Prof. Kodandaram Announces New Political Party
Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (T-JAC) is transforming into a political party. This was announced by Prof. Kodandaram, chairman of all-party Telangana Political Joint Action Committee. Kodandaram has stressed the need for a political party to address the various issues of the state including the major problems of the farmers.
Prof. Kodandaram said that the party name and party policies will soon be finalized. Thought after starting new party in the state Telangana JAC will remain in the state and the political and social movements will continue in parallel with JAC.
Mr. Kodandaram made this statement in a Farmer’s meeting conducted at Turkayamjal, Rangareddy District, Hyderabad. He spoke in the meeting as a Telangana Political JAC President with district JAC representatives and farmers. He said that as far as 3432 farmers committed suicides in the state, but government show it as 798 people.
JAC delegates visited 31 districts and met the farmers and prepared reports on their issues and said they are going to submit the reports to the government. Gaddar said that as JAC is doing silent revolution, he would join with JAC with his songs and will be a part of revolution.
The Convention has passed number of resolutions like to introduce comprehensive farming practices for protection of small and marginal farmers etc., JAC leaders Raghu, Purushotham, Khaja Mohiuddin, Ravinder, Venkat Reddy, Bairi Ramesh, Sandhya, DP Reddy participated in this.
JAC sources said the they are thinking about new party’s name. Telangana Jan Samiti (TJS) or Telangana Sakala Jana Party (TSJP). Farmers, unemployed, revolutioners, immigrants based on these four important elements party flag will be designed.
