Telugu version of ‘Queen’ put on hold?
‘Queen’ is one of the super hit movie hit box office in Bollywood. Film star Kangana Ranaut played lead role in the movie. Kangana Ranaut has also won a National Award for her performance in the movie.
Southern film makers are planning to remake the movie in South. For that Ramesh Aravind is directing to remake movie both in Tamil and Kannada languages while Neelakanta is directing movie Telugu and Malayalam languages. Tollywood news is that the Telugu version of the film has been delayed.
Leading Tollywood actress, Tamannaah Bhatia plays the lead in the Telugu version, while in Malayalam Manjima Mohan playing in the role. Kajal Agarwal is playing lead role in Tamil in the name of ‘Paris Paris’ and Parul Yadav in Kannada. Reportedly, four versions of the film were launched in 2017. The story is all about Rani, an under-confident Punjabi girl from New Delhi embarks on her honeymoon to Paris and Amsterdam by herself after her fiancé calls off their wedding.
As per the reports Tamanna Bhatia has said that she has differences with the Director Neelakantam, with this telugu version of the film has been put on hold. It is reported that Neelakanta decided to step down from this project. Ramesh Aravind, who is currently producing Kannada and Tamil versions, is likely to be directing Telugu and Malayalam versions also. Even Ramesh Aravind wants to start working on the Telugu version only after completing the other two version, say latest reports. But there is no official information from the film team.
Vishal Bahl co-wrote the script of Queen with Chaitally Parmar and Parveez Shaikh in Bollywood. In the movie Kangana Ranaut played a Rani role as young woman. The movie, which was made with just Rs.12 crores, collected gross collection of Rs. 108 crores at the box office. Kangana Ranaut also received Best Actress award at the 62nd national Awards for he best performance.
